Call for Workshops (Closed)
The 19th IEEE International Conference on Automated Software Engineering (ASE 2004) invites submissions of workshop proposals. The workshops co-located with the conference should provide an opportunity for exchanging views, advancing ideas, and discussing preliminary results on topics related to software engineering research and applications. Workshops should not be seen as an alternative forum for presenting full research papers. The workshops co-located with the conference will be held either before or after the conference on 20th, 21st or 25th of September 2004. A workshop may last one or two days.
Workshop proposals should be written in English, not exceed 3 pages and submitted in PDF format via email to both workshop organisers. They should also:
Workshop proposals will be reviewed by the ASE 2004 workshop co-chairs. Acceptance will be based on an evaluation of the workshop's potential for generating useful results, the timeliness and expected interest in the topic, the organiser's ability to lead a successful workshop, and potential for attracting sufficient number of participants.
Accepted workshops must adhere to the common deadlines listed below for submissions of papers, acceptance of papers, and preparation of proceedings
Organisers of accepted workshops are responsible for producing a master copy of the workshop proceedings containing the accepted papers, following a template that will be sent to the organisers in due course. ASE 2004 will provide support for producing copies and binding the proceedings for the workshop participants. Workshop proceedings will also be assigned an International Standard Serial Number (ISSN).
